I have not been to The Valley for a couple of years after a poor steak. I went back a couple of weeks ago when they had a coupon deal. I thought I would be having their prime rib, but when I saw Lamb rack roast for $17 I went for that. The lamb was cooked just right. It could have used some garlic or rosemary seasoning, but it was still very good.
They still don’t have a website, which makes no sense in this day and age. I plan to go back for the prime rib, and a filet and shrimp special. I hope this is a sign The Valley is back.
I agree with Kaci and Sam with what they both wrote. have tried the prime rib but it is not the same when Barb owned. Heard rumers that the place is for sale.
I was just at the Valley with two friends about 2 weeks ago and two of us had prime rib and it was wonderful. Everything I have at there has always been wonderful and the prices are good, the service is good and the place is very clean. I highly recommend them, I have been going there for several years; my husband and I use to go to lunch there after a morning of running around and he enjoyed their food and of course their draft beer. Their Cheesecake is also excellent.
I look forward to going there all the time. I would like to know if anyone ate their crab legs? Is it worth the price??

Something to keep in mind…
Even if a restaurant uses a delivery service for the bulk of their food, they can still create good meals with distinct characteristics.
Unfortunately, some restaurants do not try. ButI can’t vouch for the Valley, good or bad.
I am looking for the recipe for the original prime rib recipe when Barb owned the Valley. My family and I ate there all the time. Everything she made was excellent. I moved away from PA 10 years ago and have never had a prime rib like hers since. It was the BEST I have ever tasted. Can anyone help me with this request?
The Valley used to be THE place for wings and prime rib. New owners are trying, but after a year it stil has not taken off. Suggest they reduce size of menu and concentrate on quality. Lets have a wing night during the week not just Sunday. How about real french fries not frozen, and good home made soups. Happy Hour beer prices very good, friendly staff.

It was a pre-cooked (to medium rare) Prime Rib. Check with Sysco or US Foods.
