I can’t stay away. I am so addicted to this little place. Could eat there every night. Everything is sooooo good and the waitresses have been very nice. Chris is the greatest since shoe fly pie which we take home a lot. She always remembers us and what we drink. Oh, one thing I wish they would do is cut down on the onions in their chicken salad. It is so good, but the onions over power it. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 9 3/4 because of the onions. If they would cut back on them, the scale would be off the chart. A big fan from Dillsburg.
Overall good food, (3 out of 4 of us liked our food), charming atmosphere, but our service was not great. Our waitress was not very pleasant, and seemed annoyed from the time she came to our table until the time she gave us our check. Maybe she was having a bad night, but another customer at the table next to us also commented on her rudeness. Our friends love this pace and we went there to give it a try, but to me, all the great food in the world doesn’t matter when the service is bad. However I agree with one of the previous reviewers… The portabello sandwich is VERY good. (Burgers were good too!)
Get place to eat. Food is always good, Excellent Service, large menu to select from. One of the very best place to eat in Carlisle.
Their portabella mushroom sandwich is to die for.
We love this place…use to go there all the time when we lived there. Now living 16 hours away, we come to visit and make sure we go there!
The best restaurant in Carlisle for casual dining. Good food good atmosphere.
Fantastic pub style food. Lots of choices. Some of the normal stuff and some pretty unique. Good beer selection (for take out too). Reasonable prices and casual family-friendly dining for lunch or dinner. This place is great.
I have to agree about the menu. There are quite a few options. Makes it hard to determine what to have sometimes. Read an article about how the more options a person is given, the more paralyzed they become… but I am going off topic.
