I wasn’t at the restaurant but at a satellite location at the GM Nationals on June 21. They lost my order and at the time I was the only one in line placing an order. The service was so bad I went to the counter after 15 mins to check on my order and was told I hope it won’t be much loner I guess instead of getting an answer. After 25 mins. I went to the counter again to find they lost my ticket and just shrugged it off and gave my money back for my sandwich only not rembursing for a drink. well long story short I can’t judge the food as I was never served any but will never go there due to such bad SERVICE!!!!!!

We have become regulars at Marcello’s during our time in Carlisle. The food is consistently good, the prices are reasonable, the portions are enormous, and the desserts are phenomenal (their tiramisu is to die for). Highly recommend Marcellos! The staff works hard to provide you with a great meal!

Wonderful food, friendly atmosphere, & generous portions. The staff was very friendly. We highly recommend the white bruschetta! Just passing through town, but will definitely come again if we pass through Carlisle in the future.

The past few years now I’ve taken part in several car shows that the fairgrounds in Carlisle host. It wasn’t until this past Corvette show that I came across Marcellos. I was floored by the amount of business they were doing by dinner time. It wasn’t that much of surprise to me after tasting their food. Homemade bread, a smiling pleasant working staff. When visiting Carlisle there’s no need to look any farther, Marcellos has my dining business any day of the week!

Just visited Marcellos for the first time and was completely blown away! Having spent significant time in Italy I never thought I would find food comparable to the real thing in Carlisle of all places! My family and I are thrilled and will definitely be “regulars”. I would highly recommend the white bruschetta..it was mouth watering!

Marcello’s divides itself into a pizza/sub section and a sit down section.
The pizza/sub section offers consistently good food that offers standard fare as well as some slightly different offerings.
The finer dining area has some of the best, most creative dishes that I’ve had in the area (including all of the well known others). It is all so good that I cannot tell you about a favorite.
The atmosphere is pleasant without becoming kitschy.
The staff is attentive, pleasant, and could definitely give lessons in appropriate attention.

The best food, best value and most consistently friendly staff around. It is always a pleasure to go to Marcellos! Sit down dining room is very nice – quiet and refined, the casual “pizza and sub’s” side is always a fun setting and with the expanded seating and big screen HDTV – very comfortable for any gathering. Marcellos has managed to attain the perfect balance of fine dining, casual dining and prompt carry out. And the consistent high quality food has never disappointed.

Excellent food and atmosphere, no matter which side you dine on. Alfredo and his family always take care of their customers, and I’ve never hada bad experience there. The chicken/bacon/ranch pizza is the best of central PA.

Wonderful, delicious, fantastic! Marcello’s is great for subs, soups, and pizza and is spectacular for entrees. Best of all they even accommodate for strict dietary needs. Marcello’s is a weekly treat in my house.

Great pasta and huge portions all at a reasonable price! Can’t be beat in the Carlisle area.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Carlisle, hands down. Marcello’s has taken the #1 spot away from Rillo’s. The Lobster ravioli is to die for, the marinara sauce is delectable, full of flavor, never over-cooked, just the right amount of spices. Everything I have tried has been fantastic, I don’t think you can make a bad choice from the menu which is extensive and I am still working my way through the items. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend this establishment.

This is the best Italian food in the area, hands down. If you want good home-made Italian subs, try their Prosciutto and Mozzerella sub, and ask for roasted red peppers. Best sub in town.

The fine dining side is sooooo good as well. I always get the Cappellini Positano, which is obviously cappellini noodles, with fresh crab meat, and roasted tomatoes, in a white wine sauce with garlic. Freaking awesome, seriously. The lobster ravioli is amazing as well.

And yes, they definitely appreciate their repeat customers. I’ve gotten a free dessert for my girlfriend and I on several occasions, just because we go there so often.

I love this place. Good food, family owned/operated restaraunt (and it shows)
I go there about once or twice a month and they always recognize me and appreciate my business.
I have only been to the “fine dining” portion once, and it too was good.

The restaurant has fantastic food. Top notch, authentic italian. Generally generous portions. Priced a little higher than your typical restaurant but worth every penny. Kids are OK (if they know how to behave in a restaurant – it’s a fairly up-scale type atmosphere). Recommend no less than a business casual style attire for the restaurant. Can also call ahead for pick-up from the restaurant.

The pizza shop has good subs, but I’m not a big fan of their pizza. I get mixed reviews of their pizza from my friends, so maybe it’s just a preference thing. Pizza and sub prices are consistent with other pizza shops in the area.

The owners/proprieters of this restaurant are very freindly and very appreciative of customers visits. This is a place I definitely recommend.

Very good subs and pizza, wonderful staff/service! I haven’t been to the finer dining side, but it is definitely on my list!
