Authentic Italian Restaurant with classic southern Italian dishes on one side of the restaurant; and a convenient, bustling pizzeria on the other. Don’t forget your favorite wine or beer; we’re BYOB!!!

Marcello’s Restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in and, by far, second to none in Carlisle. Portions and prices are most favorable to the customer. The owner is usually on site and the service is very good. Whether I want a take-out pizza (I let my friends be the judge on this and they loved it), subs, or a sit down dinner, I have always enjoyed the food. I can’t say enough about this restaurant.

Excellent food and atmosphere, no matter which side you dine on. Alfredo and his family always take care of their customers, and I’ve never hada bad experience there. The chicken/bacon/ranch pizza is the best of central PA.

Wonderful, delicious, fantastic! Marcello’s is great for subs, soups, and pizza and is spectacular for entrees. Best of all they even accommodate for strict dietary needs. Marcello’s is a weekly treat in my house.

Great pasta and huge portions all at a reasonable price! Can’t be beat in the Carlisle area.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Carlisle, hands down. Marcello’s has taken the #1 spot away from Rillo’s. The Lobster ravioli is to die for, the marinara sauce is delectable, full of flavor, never over-cooked, just the right amount of spices. Everything I have tried has been fantastic, I don’t think you can make a bad choice from the menu which is extensive and I am still working my way through the items. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend this establishment.

This is the best Italian food in the area, hands down. If you want good home-made Italian subs, try their Prosciutto and Mozzerella sub, and ask for roasted red peppers. Best sub in town.
The fine dining side is sooooo good as well. I always get the Cappellini Positano, which is obviously cappellini noodles, with fresh crab meat, and roasted tomatoes, in a white wine sauce with garlic. Freaking awesome, seriously. The lobster ravioli is amazing as well.
And yes, they definitely appreciate their repeat customers. I’ve gotten a free dessert for my girlfriend and I on several occasions, just because we go there so often.

I love this place. Good food, family owned/operated restaraunt (and it shows)
I go there about once or twice a month and they always recognize me and appreciate my business.
I have only been to the “fine dining” portion once, and it too was good.

The restaurant has fantastic food. Top notch, authentic italian. Generally generous portions. Priced a little higher than your typical restaurant but worth every penny. Kids are OK (if they know how to behave in a restaurant – it’s a fairly up-scale type atmosphere). Recommend no less than a business casual style attire for the restaurant. Can also call ahead for pick-up from the restaurant.
The pizza shop has good subs, but I’m not a big fan of their pizza. I get mixed reviews of their pizza from my friends, so maybe it’s just a preference thing. Pizza and sub prices are consistent with other pizza shops in the area.
The owners/proprieters of this restaurant are very freindly and very appreciative of customers visits. This is a place I definitely recommend.

Very good subs and pizza, wonderful staff/service! I haven’t been to the finer dining side, but it is definitely on my list!
