I am a die hard Massey’s fan and before you compare it to Leo’s remember it’s Custard not ice cream that Massey’s serves …………BIG differnece in taste.
Best ice cream EVER!!!
Good ice cream, big price. still prefer Massey’s (been going there for 50 years)
Elegant balance if subtle flavors. Exquisite texture. Obviously the highest quality ingredients. It is difficult to find or even imagine better ice cream. Fairly priced, given the quality.
Best ice cream in town.
Number one ice cream spot within 10 miles of Carlisle. Excellent list of various flavors to meet even the most demanding ice cream taste buds. Really nice patio, also. It is worth the drive from wherever one lives.
Thanks to Leo management for maintaining their high quality level and excellent service.
Amazing! Friendly staff and fabulous ice cream. This beats Massey’s in every category, and the fact that Leo’s practices sustainable manufacturing of its ice cream is even better.
Best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life and I just moved to Carlisle a few years ago. Leo’s is a place I will always go at least once every two weeks when they are open. Forget Bruster’s, forget Massey’s, this is the place, hands down, bar none. Also, the best place to eat ice cream with a relaxed setting and a lot of friendly locals. Once of Carlisle’s best stops!
Not only is the ice cream wonderful, but they have such a nice area to sit and eat your ice cream. Getting an ice cream can be an event, not just a quick stop. My personal favorites are coffee any way, but with chocolate chunks or chips makes it even better – also Butter Pecan – it is so yummy.
This is the best ice cream in town. Local, with amazing changing flavors, the ice cream is not TOO sweet like some of the competitors. Some people are die hard Massey’s fans but if you want scoop ice cream (NOT CUSTARD) this is the place to go. Personally I don’t think we should bother comparing ice cream and custard because they are different things. Try the black raspberry (even better when it has c. chips in it)!
