John’s Hideaway is just that… so pay attention when trying to find this restaurant. It is located on a corner (but not the traffic light corner) of College St and a one-way road.
They serve generous portions for not a lot of money and the staff is quite friendly.
This is a nice, small-town restaurant.

The food is excellent, and the service is exceedingly friendly. They make their own soups and almost everything is fresh. They’ll make anything for you that you like! A great place to eat, and prices are low.
I absolutely love this restaurant best hamburger steak and french fries with brown gravy FIVE STARS. I have been going here since I was a little girl and never had a bad experience.
