I've tried almost every dish on the menu, and liked or loved them all, until this visit. The "special" I ordered turned out to be way too hot (it was not described as a spicy hot dish), with no other flavor, and the chicken tasted funny (off, possibly bad). After I explained the problem and asked for something else, the server brought my replacement dish, but also brought back the one I couldn't /wouldn't eat back to the table in a to-go box and informed us that someone would have to take it. I've NEVER been to a decent restaurant that expected you to pay for a dish that you sent back to the kitchen. We didn't want to make a big deal of it, since many in our group eat there regularly. You'd think they would treat regular customers better than that. On top of it, they absolutely refused to ring up our checks separately at the register, as they always have done before--apparently a new policy. Again, as often as we've eaten there, you'd think they would be accommodating. It's going to be a while before we consider spending our money there again.
