Had to get one out of 3 of her vehicles inspected across from this restaurant today, so stopped in to eat breakfast. Pancake, French toast, chipped beef, and service was fair, however the home fries were awful. Turned my stomach. Will never go there or suggest that place.

LOVE this place, so cozy…the food is always tasty. Whenever we have out of towners here for a visit, this is where we take them. I adore Vicki.

HORRIBLE customer service. When my food came to the table several items were forgotten and several unwanted items were given. the waitress kindly fixed it(probably the cooks messed it up or she wrote it incorrectly on the slip), but during check out the cashier asked how everything was and when I told her I wasn’t pleased with the service she argued with me. My pancake was cold so I asked my waitress if I could have it remade and she very sweetly agreed to do so. Since she asked, I told the cashier about the cold pancake and the issues we had to get what we had ordered and she argued with me about everything. It was my fault the pancake was cold because I waited to eat it last, though when I got it I checked to find it was cold from the beginning. The cashier was extremely rude and I’ll never go back again or refer my friends or guests from the hotel I work at.
Fay’s WAS my favorite place for breakfast, but not after today

I’m a prospective Dickinson student and when I visited, just happened to walk into Fay’s. Let me tell you, it was GREAT. Hit the spot.

Just moved to Carlisle. This is my favorite breakfast spot. Very busy on the weekends, a little easier to get a table during the week, but worth the wait. Very attentive, friendly waitstaff. Delicious home-cooking. Great value. The specials are always especially good.

Best hot chocolate ever!!! I now live in Texas, and I can not find anything that is close to the greatness of the hot cocoa they serve you. And the whipped cream is to dieeeeee for!!!

Love this restaurant! The grilled muffins are great! The pumpkin pancakes in the fall are out-of-this-world. I wish they were available year round.

Great pancakes but then terrible syrup to pour on them. Why don’t they offer real maple syrup at an extra price for those that want the good stuff.

That is a great comment/suggestion that the mgt may be able to use. Did you let them know?

Great food – we love having breakfast there. Warning though – the last time we were there, the waitress was so darn attentive in keeping our coffee cups full, we all walked out with a caffein buzz! 🙂 In other words, wonderful service too! Cash only, but they have added an ATM.
