Haven’t been here in about a year and don’t plan on going back ever. The foods that should have been spicy were not and everything seemed to taste the same. The only thing that the males in my family even came close to enjoying was the sushi.

Will continue to travel to Hbg for Chinese buffet or better yet, NYC.

Disappointed in the changes and the won ton soup is terrible. The noodles are mushy from sitting in the broth too long. Hubby enjoys the sushi, though. Definitely not the best Chinese buffet but it’s better than the others in town.

My wife and I love eating at this buffet. The sushi rolls are kinda ehh. But the rest of the food is always pretty good. The servers there are always very fast as well.

I have been to the supper buffet many times since they opened years ago. Under old management it was consistantly good. Under new management it’s hit and miss, sometimes it’s excellent and others I leave very disappointed.

This is an awesome place to eat!! I like the fact that there is a varity of foods there to choose from, not just always the “standard” foods when it comes to Chinese buffets. When you get take out you also get to pick out free sodas.

I was in Super Buffet last month and was surprised at the changes. There are fewer Chinese dishes and more American dishes. Fewer meat dishes more vegetables. Also there were few Chinese staff, seems to be more Americans. Fresh fruit is still very good. I think Great Wall in the Walnut Bottom shopping mall may be the better buffet now.

Not sure why it’s only 2.5 stars. I can only assume it’s being rated not against other Chinese buffets, but against other “classier” restaurants in general. For a Chinese Buffet, it’s pretty darn good. The price is a bit higher than average, but there is a good variety of food beyond the standard American-ized “Chinese” food: salad bar, fresh fruit, kids stuff, sushi, and on Fridays and Saturdays there is a BBQ style grill. Service is good and it’s clean. Definitely one of the better Chinese buffets around.

Almost did not go because of the lukewarm comments. We all definitely enjoy different things, so please give it a try and judge for yourself. Very enjoyable with the fresh strawberries, kiwi and other fruits being a special treat. Six different food bars plus the other sushi, grill and ice cream choices. This was a treat after frequenting the other four Oriental buffets closer to us. Will absolutely be going out of our way to make this a more frequent eating pleasure.

I have eaten at the Carlisle Super Buffet many times over the last several months and plan to continue. The food is superb! I have been there at lunch and dinner times and not throughout the day, so my comments reflect the time of day I was there. The food has always been excellent, a very large selection of good food to choose from, and has always been hot. Try the seafood supreme! They are moderately priced. The restaurant is clean and the employees and owner are very friendly. I highly recommend the Carlisle Super Buffet.

Same old same old Chinese buffet. It does have sushi. On Christmas Day they had duck but it was a bit chewy. Good cheap place if you have starving teenagers who want to chow down.
