This is quite possibly the worst Bonanza I have ever eaten at. I arrived between the lunch and dinner crowd, and was shocked by the lack of food on the buffet. What was there was obvioulsy sitting around since the lunch crowd had left. The service was terrible. I had to hunt down someone to find out where my tables drinks were. And forget about getting a refill. My wife figured that things were due to the time of day and possible shift changes. So we gave it a shot a few weeks later for dinner. We were treated to limited and almost flavorless buffet items, very poor service. Not at all worth visiting again.
Quite possibly the worst service I have received in a local restaurant. We were fine with the extended wait to take our order, we were fine with the extended wait to receive our food, luckily the company made these mistakes enjoyable. Our decision to take home two left over potatoes and a steak caused the problem. This is the most inept restaurant staff I have ever witnessed. The manager’s willingness to insult us and send us away to never return over making a wise decision was unbelievable in itself. The rudeness of our waitresses was amazing. The stock response to our civil and polite inquiries was “I just work here”. This was actually a very helpful retort, because frankly we couldn’t tell.
Aug 27 thru Aug 29/10. Had a great time in Carlisle. Absolutely no complaints about this steak house. Food was hot & they offered a 10% discount when staying at the Super 8 hotel. Looking forward to visiting again.
