I called to see if they have any special foods for Chinese New Year (year of the horse) but unfortunately it was just their usual menu.

Dinner for five this evening, two had been before; three had not. We were impressed first with the ambience, Hallowe’en decorations notwithstanding. Even the bathrooms are tasteful, and the entire restaurant was very clean and inviting.

We all had hibachi for dinner, two steak, two veg, and a salmon. The salad was the best I’ve ever had at a Japanese steakhouse–much fresher and with a tastier dressing similar to what I’ve had before but better. The fried rice and noodles were done well, and the shrimp were cooked just right. Our chef was young, entertaining, and skilled at his trade. The steak was cooked to the proper temperature with nice caramelization, although my dining partner wanted more garlic on it. My salmon was properly cooked, although for my taste could have been a little less done. I’d order it again, but ask them to cook it medium-well.

There was a minor mixup with the one couple’s order, which they put right when the bill came. No one left hungry. We also liked very much that the restaurant is BYOB. I’m looking forward to going for sushi sometime soon as well. I didn’t try any of the sushi the other couple ordered, but it looked very nice, and they were accommodating in making the roll with brown rice.

Tried the sushi side of the restaurant this evening – everything was excellent, particularly the seaweed salad and sashimi. Service possibly slightly over- attentive, if anything, but really no
complaints at all. Good food, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. What’s not to like?

We plan to go back to try the hibachi side, where people seemed also to be having a good time.

Good food, nice atmosphere, service awful! We brought in a nice bottle of champagne for a little celebration and then waited half an hour for wine glasses to be washed. When the bottle and glasses were finally brought to us, it was already opened and half full. We were told someone in the kitchen shook the bottle before opening it. So much for our celebration, (not enough in there for 4 of us). We were not offered any compensation or replacement. (Liquor store is in the same shopping center.) Really unprofessional. Glad I hadn’t spent more than $40 on it.

Very hot in the hibachi side!

My wife and I just ate here, and WOW!

We have ate a lot of sushi over the years, but this place is hands down one of the best places we’ve ever been to. The salmon was like velvet and the whitefish required a moment of silence afterwards.

The Japanese Oyster was good enough to die for.

Our waitress was obviously new to the business, so I’m sure service will pick up with time.

Prices for sushi were reasonable, and for this quality unbeatable.

Surprisingly inviting atmosphere for a Carlisle restaurant. The interior is spacious and tastefully decorated, nothing is over the top. We stopped in only to get a couple sushi rolls for takeout. Before we even ordered, one of the employees came up to us and asked if we would like to look around. She actually gave us a quick tour of the restaurant.
After ordering, the host asked if we would like to try their rice tea. She then brought over two cups of delicious tea and even refilled after we finished it. The service was wonderful, especially considering we were only there for takeout.

The best part really was the sushi, though. Extremely fresh and well-prepared. Filling yet not heavy in the slightest. Highly recommended!

Terrific new sushi and hibachi place in Carlisle. Very welcoming, clean and well decorated. Our wait staff was very attentive. The young lady who took our order did not speak English very well so she was extra careful and asked us to show her the menu if she couldn’t understand our orders…. and then she took the time to repeat our orders to be certain that she took them down correctly.

The big hit was the sushi. This was fantastic sushi, very fresh, not too heavy, well prepared and presented. I’ve tried sushi all over Central PA and this has been the best I’ve had.

The service was a bit slow, which was fine for us because we were in no hurry. Being that it’s only been open a week or so… I cannot vouch for the hibachi.I highly recommend the sushi here!
